The Joint Center for Earth Systems Technology (JCET)
The position will be a part of the administrative team for the Goddard Planetary Heliophysics Institute (GPHI), The Center for Research and Exploration in Space Science & Technology II (CRESST II) & The Joint Center for Earth Systems Technology (JCET). The Centers were formed under three distinct Cooperative Agreement awards from NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. GPHI is a collaboration between UMBC and University of Maryland, College Park scientists that are supported through the Heliophysics Division at Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). CRESSTII is a collaboration between University of Maryland, College Park and UMBC scientists that are supported through the the Earth Sciences Division at Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) and JCET scientists are supported through the Earth Sciences Division at GSFC. The administrative staff that supports these centers work with UMBC staff, students, research faculty, GSFC Sponsors, appointed fellows and affiliated tenured/tenure-track faculty.
